How can I make a reservation at Aimsir?
Reservations can only be made via our website www.aimsir.ie
Do you have a waiting list to which I can be added?
Yes, if there is a day you are interested in but it’s fully booked it is also possible to add yourself to our waiting list online by clicking on your desired date. We receive cancellations daily and if a table becomes available we will contact you in advance to confirm.
All days seem to be full. Is there a trick to securing a table?
Yes, well, sort of… We receive many requests for tables of 2 guests, and as we only have a limited number of these tables available per night they sell out extremely quickly. The trick here is to grab some friends as there is more of a chance to secure a table for parties of 4 or more.
How far in advance can I make a booking?
We take reservations 3 months in advance.
If I have a question about an existing reservation?
If you have a question about or wish to make changes to an existing booking please email us at bookings@aimsir.ie
Will I receive any other communications regarding my reservation?
Yes. Once you have made a reservation you will receive a confirmation email. Five days prior to your reservation date you will receive a reminder email.
Is there a deposit?
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations cannot be be cancelled once booked. Reservations may be rescheduled on provision of 7 days notice prior to the reservation date for tasting menu or 28 days for Overnight experiences subject to new date availability.
Your party size cannot be reduced unless we have a table available for the newly desired size and the restaurant is notified 7 days prior to the reservation date for tasting menu and 28 days for Overnight experiences.
If you wish to cancel with less notice than stated above and we are unable to take another reservation for your table of the same party size then we reserve the right to charge a late cancellation fee of €220 per guest. If you make a reservation but do not arrive at the restaurant then we also reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of €220 per guest.
All requests to reschedule reservations must be made in writing to bookings@aimsir.ie
How can I make a booking for a large group?
As we are a small restaurant with just 6 tables, the largest table we have seats a maximum of 6 guests. Unfortunately we are unable to take large groups above this size. Please contact bookings@aimsir.ie. Parties larger than 6 can be accommodated only for private events.

We can usually cater for most health or allergy-related dietary requests with prior notice. We would ask that you advise us of dietary requests via email at bookings@aimsir.ie so advance notice can be given to the kitchen. Please note that we are not able to accommodate vegan menus or menus free from milk protein. Allergy or dietary restrictions announced on the night without prior notice may result in a shortened menu.

How long should we allow to fully enjoy the experience?
Our tasting menu is a carefully planned series of around 18 dishes, and we advise you to allow about 4 hours to enjoy it comfortably.
